Code of Ethics
As a member of The Robson Ranch Denton Pickleball Club:
- I will treat
others with respect
- I will not engage
in any behavior that would endanger the health, safety, or well being
of others.
- I will not engage
in the use of excess profanity on the court or near court areas.
- I will not engage
in physical abuse, threats or harassment.
- I will not
criticize my partner or other members and or fault them for their
mistakes.
- I will not engage
in unsportsmanlike conduct or encourage others to do so.
- I will exhibit
fairness and honesty in my dealings with others.
- I will be a
positive influence on members and others to encourage teamwork.
- I will accept
responsibility for guest and family members in attendance.
- I will be
respectful of those players on the court and avoid unnecessary
interruptions by non-players.
- I will not commit
any act that could be considered grossly unsportsmanlike
- I will not flaunt
my position or standing within the club.
- I will abide by
all of the current HOA rules
The above Code of Ethics applies in all situations that relate directly or indirectly to Pickleball play.
I understand that the Board members have the right to suspend any player or player’s guest for any infraction of the above code of ethics. Multiple infractions may result in a suspension for up to one year.
Any member of RRDPC may file a complaint regarding an infraction of the above Code of Ethics. Complaints must be made in writing and must be collaborated by a minimum of two witnesses. Complaints will be delivered to the Chairman of the Ethic Committee. The Ethics Committee will review the complaint and deliver their confidential recommendation to the President for consideration by the board. All deliberation regarding the complaint will remain confidential.
