sUMMARY of what the pb Board is proposing.

What’s different with this proposal compared to the earlier version?

The Board has heard many of your concerns and have asked the Exploratory Task Force to amend the proposal to:

●Contain 4 play levels

● Archive everyone’s ratings

● Add 2 more courts to club play (2 more than we have now) so that each play style will have 4 courts

● Propose to add a DUPR night(s) for those who want a tournament rating or for private play groups outside of club playtime.

**Abbreviation of the Updated court proposal

“Match your play to the court, so everyone gets the game they came for.”

Ratings are assumed to measure Skill, Not Preferred Experience. For example, one B player is looking for a fast, aggressive game, while another B player is looking for a relaxed social game. They’re both B players, but on this day, their play style is entirely different.

So, why are we proposing this change now?

Simply because this proposal focuses on you, the club member, and you getting to choose the experience you want.
